The raised relief, hand painted decoration features a Bavarian couple dancing with an Alpine scene behind them. On the sides of the stein are tributes and landmarks from Oberammergau, Ettal, Garmisch-partenkirchen, Muenchen, Neuschwanstein, and Linderhof. A stoneware dancing couple figurine adorns the pewter lid and the pewter thumb lift is a Bavarian lion.
